Merle D Twaits, passed away peacefully in Tucson, Arizona on April 24th, 2019. Merle was born on October 7th 1937 in England, AR to Ed and Noma Sartin. She married Johnny Twaits of Knoble, AR in Chowchilla, CA in 1957. Merle worked many years at and retired from the Child Development Center at Davis Monthan AFB. Merle, was a patient and loving wife and mother. She is survived by her brothers Pete Sartin, Barnie (Butch) Sartin (Linda), Paul (Buddy) Sartin (Shirley) and Kenny Sartin (Sandy); her Sister Wanda Waddles (James); her daughters, Karen Tucker (Sean), Patricia Contreras; her sons, Johnny Jr (Lisa) and Randy (Sharon); her thirteen grandchildren; and her six great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Ed and Noma; husband Johnny; her brothers Hartsell and James and sister Flora. A celebration of life will take place on Saturday May 4th from 1 to 5 PM.
