Tessy L. LaPorte (Vosburgh)

Tessy L. LaPorte (Vosburgh), 49, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2019, in St Johns, Arizona. She was born September 8, 1970, to Robert and Ida Vosburgh. Living in Tucson, Arizona for most of her life, Tessy worked for Pima College for 20 years, displaying a wonderful knack for solving problems. Tessy was best known for her unwavering love for family and her selfless commitment to animals, especially when it came to saving dogs. Intelligent, strong, and independent, Tessy never avoided a challenge, and instead took pride in being self-sufficient. Tessy truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; spending time with her son and daughter, grandkids, sisters and brother, and her many nieces and nephews. She loved the outdoors, and had an adventurous spirit, which was at peace no matter if she was in the desert or the mountains. She had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way, always loyal and dedicated to her large family. Tessy is survived by her children, KaSarah & David, Scot & Lillie, Nikki, Danika and Daemon; her grandchildren, Kevin, Jameson, Landon, Emersyn and James; her mother, Ida; her siblings, Keith, Tammy and Tawny, and her many nieces, nephews and relatives whom she loved endlessly. Friends and others whose lives Tessy touched are invited to the Brings Funeral Home, 6910 E Broadway, on Friday, November 8, at 11:00 a.m. to reminisce, grieve, support each other, and express a showing of love for Tessy.
