Bruce was born on July 13, 1966 in Danville, Illinois, to Robert Dean and Nancy Katherine(Rice) Meeker. He moved with his family to Oregon in 1970. He attended Rural Dell Elementary and Molalla Middle and High School. On April 21, 2001 Bruce married Kathleen in Centralia, Washington. Bruce was loving, devoted husband, father and son who enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He loved fishing, camping and playing board games with family and friends. He was a hard worker with integrity. He will be remembered as an honorable, giving man with a huge heart and a loving nature. He attended the LDS Church in Canby, Oregon - 2nd Ward as well as branch in Crescent, Oregon. He was a previous member of the Northwest Civil War Council in the Maryland Line and was also a Boy Scout and leader. He is survived by: Wife; Kathy Meeker of Canby, Daughters; Megan Meeker of Canby, and Bambi McRae of El Paso, TX; Parents, Robert and Nancy Meeker of Canby; brother, Larry Meeker of Battleground, WA; Nephew, Randy Meeker of Canby and 2 stepsons, Mike Greene of Caddo Gap, AR and Charles Terry of Caddo Gap, AR. He also leaves behind 2 grandchildren. He will be missed by all. There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday August 19, 2017 at 1:00pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints - 1285 S. Elm Street, Canby, Oregon.
