Kevin Morris Edds, 61, passed away April 6th, 2014 after battling liver disease for the past year. He was born December 13th, 1952 in New Brunswick, New Jersey and moved to Tucson shortly after where he was raised and lived. Kevin graduated from Flowing Wells High School. Kevin loved to write, enjoyed painting and art as well as nature. He had a passion for world peace and was an activist in several organizations to promote his ideas. He is the son of Homer Robert Edds and Alma (Lou) Edds/Phillips. He is survived by his mother, Alma Lois Phillips, brother David Edds and sister-in-law Kathy Edds, his sister Cindy Hodgeson and brother-in-law Dale Hodgeson. Nephews and Niece Cassandra Edds, Ben Edds, Brandon Hodgeson and wife Tiffany, and Seth Hodgeson. Kevin was loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 10th 2014, at 4:00 p.m. at Fellowship Bible Church, 6700 E. Broadway, Tucson, AZ. In lieu of flowers memorial preferred to the Tucson Gospel Rescue Mission, 707 W. Miracle Mile, Tucson, AZ 85705.
