Roy Milton Bastian
February 16th, 1943 - April 10th, 2024
Roy Milton Bastian-Left this world on 4/10/24 at the age of 81. Born in Kimball, Nebraska to Jean (Pollock) Bastian and Milton Bastian on 2/16/43. He was raised on the Lazy TC ranch near Egbert, Wyoming. He attended Burns High School and graduated in 1961.
Roy moved to Lincoln, Ne where he graduated from the University of Nebraska with a degree in Education. During this time, he married Mary Marks on 9/14/69. They started a family and have 2 girls Carla Jean Bastian and Kelly Sue Bastian.
Roy taught in Oak Park, Illinois and Red Oak, Iowa. Ultimately settling in Colorado where he lived until the time of his death. Roy is predeceased by his wife, Mary Bastian in 2022. Married 59 years they were truly partners in life.
Roy is survived by Carla Bastian (George Pennica) Kelly Bastian (Beth Kelley) and their son Jack Bastian. Dennis Bastian (Randye), Leona Myers. Cole Bastian, Bridget Ay, Brian Myers, and Kevin Myers.
We will celebrate Roy’s life together Saturday, May 18 in Burns, Wyoming at 1pm.
In lieu of flowers make a donation to March of Dimes in Roy’s honor who offered much support to Roy and his family as a young boy with Polio.
