Michael Gary Simpson

Michael Gary Simpson was born in Los Angeles, California on April 7, 1949, and passed on January 25, 2023, at Age: 73 After honorably serving his country as a member of the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Veteran era, Michael lived most of his life in Southern California where he worked with LAPD as a Senior Jail Officer until his retirement to Wofford Heights in Northern California. Michael enjoyed the beautiful mountain weather, fishing, and camping. Due to his ailing health, Michael and his nephew, Kevin, decided he would move down off the mountain to be closer to family. Michael came out to enjoy Thanksgiving and fell in love with Bullhead City Arizona. Soon after, he purchased a home where he lived for two weeks. He did not get the chance to experience all that Arizona had to offer. Michael, you will be in our thoughts and hearts especially when we take the boat out or go fishing. Michael has touched the hearts of many and will be greatly missed by all those who had the pleasure of being in his graces. Graveside services will be held at Desert Lawn Memorial Garden, 9250 S. Ranchero Lane, Mohave Valley, Arizona 86440 at 12:00pm (AZ time) and Officiated by Pastor Gene Stouffer.
