Dale Catherine Matthesius, 82 currently of Lake Havasu City, Arizona died on May 17th, 2022, at Havasu Regional Hospital in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. She was born in Brownstown, Virginia on Friday, August 4, 1939, a daughter of Elmer Partlow and Virginia (Rudacille) Partlow. Dale is survived by her daughters, Paula (Robert) Rogers of Arizona, Charlotte (Fred) Twin of Minnesota, Jeannette (Bill) Twin also of Minnesota, Karen (Ken) Resnick of New Hampshire; one niece, Deborah Grigsby; two nephew's, Michael Grigsby and Stephen Clark; ten grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Arthur Matthesius; her parents; and sister Betty Grigsby. Dale graduated from Warren Co. High School in Front Royal, VA the year 1957. She married her husband, Arthur in 1968. She spent many years dedicated and employed as an Administrative Assistant for a law firm, The Department of State and The Department of Army in Washington D.C. and retired in 1980 from the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. Dale enjoyed many things in life, loved entertaining others and bowling. A memorial Service to honor and celebrate her life is being planned for a later date. Memorials are suggested in her honor to "Hospice of Havasu." [Obituaries]
