Arlene Tracy Menninga (DeJong), age 79, passed away peacefully in Fort Mohave, Arizona on February 23, 2022, and is now with her Lord and Savior. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, Howard. Arlene loved to spend time having coffee and playing games with family and friends, boating with friends, and listening to music. She will be remembered for her deep faith, her love for her family, the love and comfort she found in music, and of course her generous kindness with the many things she lovingly gave to others such as her baked goodies, bracelets and devotional books. Arlene is survived by her children, Gary and Capri Menninga, Sheila and Bob VanderWoude, and Bruce and Sharon Menninga; grandchildren Amber and Mike Oberhansley, Zach Menninga, Katrina and Mike Christensen, Kaitlyn and John Chen, and Ryan and Aubrey VanderWoude; great grandchildren Autumn, Evelyn, Brock, and Ledger; and siblings Wilbur and JoAnn DeJong, Rose and Norm TeGrotenhuis, and sister-in-laws Sue DeJong, Delores DeJong, and Priscilla (Otto) Huizenga along with many nieces and nephews. Also preceding Arlene in death are her parents Peter S. and Tracy (Faber) DeJong, her siblings Pete, Sam, Rena, Julius, Ray, Marion, and Marvin, and Howard's siblings and parents.
