Virginia Joyce Gwin, originally from Omaha, Nebraska, passed away peacefully November 20, 2021 at the age of 99 at Sunridge Village Assisted Living in Bullhead City, AZ where she lived for many years. She is survived by her sister Marge Rostermundt, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her loving husband Harry Gwin, parents Joseph and Lucille Pribyl, adoptive parents Joseph and Clair Retynski, sister Luci (Bill) Johnston, brother Joe (Darlene) Pribyl, brother-in-law Bob Rostermundt and niece Jodi Onder. Ginny was very proud to have been Honorably Discharged from the U.S. Naval Personnel Separation Unit (WR), Washington D.C. on March 8, 1946 as Specialist (I) Second Class. She was entitled to wear the Victory Ribbon and American Campaign Ribbon. The family would like to thank Debbie and MJ of Living Waters Hospice of Bullhead City, AZ for their recent care of Ginny and the entire staff at Sunridge Village Assisted Living for taking such good care of her throughout the years. She truly enjoyed living there. A special thank-you to Peggy, retired staff member at Sunridge Village, for her loving friendship with "Miss Ginny." We know Ginny must have missed you terribly when you retired. Service to be held at 11:00am, Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at Desert Lawn Funeral Home and Cemetery, 9250 S. Ranchero Lane, Mohave Valley, AZ 86440 with burial immediately after at Desert Lawn Cemetery.
