Robert (Bob) Eugene Schaefer Born: December 19, 1934 in Eustis, Nebraska Died: March 25, 2018 Lake Havasu City, Arizona He was 83 years old Survived by his Wife Marian of 43 years, his son Rick Schaefer, daughters Cindy Stelzl, Susan Hayes & Christina Campbell. Spouses: Lori Schaefer, Douglas Hayes & Kyle Campbell. Grandchildren: Bret, Sean, Michael, Marge, Ashley, Julian, Alesha, Bradley, Zachary, Audrey, Evan. Great Grandchildren: Mia, Michael Jr., Miles & Ashlyn. Brothers: Gayle & Tom Schaefer. Spouses: Judy & Wendy. Numerous Nieces, Nephews, Cousins. Bob a Big Red, Go Nebraska fan! loved Huskers Football. Family moved to California when he was seven. Bob was of German descent, He graduated Bellflower High School in 1954. Worked with his family and started Schaefer's Parking Lot Service of Paramount, CA. Bob ventured out on his own and started R. E. Schaefer Enterprises, Inc. in Ontario, CA where he retired. Bob in his early years loved to Hunt, Swim, Boat, even learned to fly. Most of all he liked people. He was a caring man and was willing to help those in need. Bob was a hard worker and anyone who worked with him, knew that about him in the field or you walked home. He was a jokester, prankster and always believed he would get the best of you. He made us laugh and cry. Overall, he was a best friend to all. His love of the telephone, he called all his family and friends quite often to tell the latest jokes or just to see how you were doing. Bob was a Member of Holy Redeemer Lutheran Church in Bellflower, CA, Bob initiated a section of the grounds that was donated to have roses planted in honor of those whom passed. He also was confirmed and baptized in the Lutheran Church as a young man. Bob's supported his favorite political candidates and when he felt he wanted to be heard he would write a letter to the President of the United States voicing his opinion, that also would include the Governor, and or the Mayor. Bob was a true Patriot to his country and the Flag. He supported different groups and organizations. He was a man of integrity. Bob will be missed by his family and friends, and when you think of him, just say: Hello! Bob, we love you and miss you and God bless you. A graveside service will be held on Friday March 30, 2018 at 3:00pm at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to The Heart Association, Neuropathy Foundation, or The Dementia/ Alzheimer's Association in honor of Robert (Bob) Eugene Schaefer.
