Frances Ann Smith (nee Taylor) born May 26, 1926, left this plane of existence on February 3, 2024, and is on her way to her next adventure.  She was preceded in death by her parents Claude and Lula Taylor, her husband Robert Smith, son Anthony Smith, brothers Claude Jr., Paul, Leon and Charlie Taylor, her sisters Mary Taylor, Betty Latson and Louise James.

She is survived by her children Marceline McWain, Robert, Barbara and Jeffrey Smith, her grandchildren Stephanie Bland, Lashon Sykes, Robert Smith III, Brandon and Stephon Smith and numerous nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.

Always with a smile, she charmed everyone she met as she independently lived her life.  She was a lover of plants, literature, music, the ats, movies and believe it or not, murder mysteries!

For those who knew her, please remember the light that she brought into your life.  Here are a few nice words about her from friends and family:

  • "I found her sweet, funny and classy.  She was a real lady!"
  • "What an amazing life! Can you imagine how it would be to have seen so many things happen for the first time in her amazing 97-year life?"
  • "Sassy and super classy! A lover of beauty, art, flowers and everything fun!

We loved her, we will miss her.
