Nancy Lee Richardson
Born Thursday, October 27, 1938, In Cody Wyoming, and passed away on, Tuesday, April 22, 2024 in Roseville, CA.
Nancy attended Cody, Wyoming Schools until her Junior year, she completed her high school years at Ten-Sleep High School. She graduated High School as Salutatorian of her class. She also attended Girl State, which was an honor for any young women to be chosen to attend.
She married her High School Sweetheart; Gordon Richardson, in 1956, enjoying a blissful 67 years together.
She had two sons: Terry Lee Richardson, (Diane) & Michael Lee Richardson, (Crystal).
She was a stay-at-home Mom, until the boys were in Elementary School, where she served as an Instructional Assistant. Being an avid reader, Nancy eventually became a School Librarian.
Nancy attended American River College and was instrumental in converting the library from Card Cataloging to a Digital Computer System. Nancy was a Librarian for 25 years, then retired in 1999.
Nancy had three Grandchildren, Lindsey Staples, (Sean), Tom Richardson, (Channa) and Mikey Richardson, who passed away on October 20, 2012
Nancy was also blessed with three Great-Grandchildren, Norah Richardson, Ellis Richardson and Juliet Staples.
Cremation has taken place. There will be a family service on May 18th, 2024, in Granite Bay, CA. Hosted by Terry & Diane Richardson. Some of her Ashes will be Scattered by her family members, at special locations that meant a lot to Nancy, the rest will be Inurned at Ten Sleep Cemetery, in Ten Sleep Wyoming.
