Marvin Dean Miller

Marvin Miller passed away on August 11th, 2019 in his home in Rio Linda at the age of 57. Marvin is survived by his 6 children; Jillian (Max), Mariah (Austin), William, Jacob (Lexi), James, and Lisa. He is also survived by his 5 grandchildren; John, Aaric, Logan, Jax, and Evelyn. Marvin was born in 1962 to Adena Kalal (deceased) and Ralph Miller (deceased). He was the youngest of 5 children and was born and raised in Sacramento. During his youth, he became an Eagle Scout at the age of 14. After graduating from Mira Loma in 1980, Marvin went on to become a loving father and uncle, as well as a successful Salesman. Marvin worked for Capitol Clutch & Brake for over 25 years, travelling all over Northern California and building relationships with his customers that would last for years. Marvin was a man who knew no stranger; he was a friend to everyone he met. He often lent a helping hand to those who needed it, and went out of his way to make sure everyone always felt included. On any given weekend, you could find Marvin enjoying the views of Folsom lake or spending time with his family. In honor of Marvin’s memory, a Celebration of Life is being held on September 7th at 3pm at Howe Park. His family is planning to BBQ after and serve his favorite: cheeseburgers. If you are able to bring a side dish or non alcoholic beverages, it would be greatly appreciated. "Cheese burgers yea man yea!"
