Tribute Jennifer Greenspan is saddened to announce the sudden and unexpected death of her husband Gary M. Greenspan. He passed away on Wednesday December 7th at UC Health Longs Peak, with Jennifer at his side. Gary grew up in New Jersey. He had a passion for 60's & 70's muscle cars. After high school, he attended Rutgers University, and graduated with a masters degree in Pharmacology. After college he vacationed in Colorado. He liked it there so much that he moved there. He opened his own Pharmacy in Longmont called The Medicine Shop. Then went on to Manage Pharmacies at Walmart. He and Jennifer dedicated over 20 years working with animals, spaying and neutering homeless and feral cats, and rescuing horses bound for the slaughter house. They stayed at their ranch until they were adopted. Gary loved watching The Broncos and The Rockies, he was a great fan. He also loved his Thunderbird and spent many hours customizing it. He was married to Jennifer for 38 years. Gary was a kind and gentle soul with a dry sense of humor. He will be greatly missed. Services
