Services will be held at a later date for, Melvin D. Johnson, 60, of Chico. He passed away on October 2, 2006 at Riverside Conv. Hospital in Chico. Melvin was born on November 5, 1945 in California to Edwin and Marie Johnson. He worked for over fifteen years as a mechanic. Melvin is survived by his daughter, Lisa Thomas of Chico. He will be cremated.
