Updated "Chi Chi" for Service Info Thomas Chrisope

Thomas “Chi Chi” Chrisope Thomas Royden Chrisope of Chico, CA passed away unexpectedly May 17, 2010. He was born April 20, 1947 in Glendale, CA to Clayton and Didama Chrisope. At 22 he moved to Chico to attend Chico State and play football. He was a member of the fraternity Delta Psi Delta where he acquired his nickname of “Chi Chi”. While attending Chico State, Tom began working at Pacific Bell where he remained for 30 years until retiring. An avid fast pitch softball player, Tom was a member of several teams: Holiday Markets, Chico Suns, and Chico Ice. He also enjoyed volunteering and being a member at Chico Sports Club where he became known as “The Gym Rat” to many and a great motivator to other members. Despite living in Chico for more than 40 years, Tom still followed the Lakers and was true to the LA Dodgers! Tom will be greatly missed by his wife Pennie of 23 years. He was the beloved and proud father of two daughters, Lyndsey Chrisope Garibay (Ernesto) and Holly Chrisope. He was the loved uncle of numerous nieces and nephews. Tom was preceded in death by his sister Nancy Daws and parents Clayton and Didama Chrisope. A casual Celebration of Life for Tom "Chi Chi" Chrisope will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Shaffer Ranch, 3882 Keefer Road, Chico, California.
