A memorial service for, John Laurence Snyder, 63, of Chico, will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2009, 2:00 p.m. at Affordable Mortuary in Chico. John passed away on February 16, 2009 at Enloe Medical Center. He was born on December 17, 1945 in Lancaster, PA to Henry and Dorothy Snyder. On August 14, 1970 he married Glenna Tutt. John worked for twenty-five years as a computer technician. Survivors include his wife, Glenna Snyder of Chico; daughters, Christina Contreras of Corona, CA and Deborah Hughes (Steve) of West Hollywood, CA; son, Alec Snyder of Chico; five grandchildren, Amanda, Johnathan, Haley, Evan and Sarah; mother, Dorothy Snyder of Moscow, PA and brother, Jay Snyder of Dallas, TX.
