Nadine Marie Rehse

Nadine Marie Rehse was born on Dec. 3rd, 1934 in Guide Rock, Nebraska, to Virgil and Marie Gleason. She passed away at Windsor Chico Care on Oct. 21, 2018 at the age of 83. Nadine’s family moved from Guide Rock to Orland, California in 1936. Nadine attended Orland schools and graduated with her high school diploma in 1952. The fall after graduation she married her high school sweetheart, Paul Nichols. They were married 30 years and had three children. As a young girl she was active in Rainbow Girls, becoming Worthy Advisor, and as an adult Mother Advisor. Nadine was active with the Orland Alumni Association for many years. She enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren in school and sports activities. She loved to Knit and crochet. Nadine met and married Vernon Rehse in 1983 and became a step mom to his sons; Russell, Randy and Dennis. Nadine is predeceased by her husband of 31 years, Vernon; Sister Beverly Hilli; son Bradley Nichols; so- in-law Gary Nunes; and grandson Trevor Nunes. Nadine is survived by two daughters, Denise Dressen (Brad) and Cindy Nunes; Daughter-in-law Christy Nicholsl; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the charity of your choice in Nadine’s name. A family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
