Marlin Kenneth Walch

Marlin Kenneth Walch, commonly known as "Ike" passed away on Friday, June 19, 2020 at his home in Molalla surrounded by loved ones. He was 80 years old. Ike was born on June 16, 1940 in Molalla, Oregon. He graduated Molalla High School in 1958 and went on to marry Jo Ann Haynes of Silverton, Oregon on December 24, 1963. Ike had a 35 year career with Chrysler and retired on December 31, 2002. He then filled his days tending to his farm and the many cows he had ammassed over the years. To know Ike is to know his passion for his cows, most of which had names. Ike is proceeded in death by his wife Jo Ann, and his parents Emil and Iola Walch of Molalla. He is survived by his daughter Kelly and her husband Larry Hulett, son Kevin, son Brian and his wife June, daughter Becky Walch, all of Molalla, his sister Eileen and her husband DeWayne of Toledo, Oregon, 6 grandchildren and 9 greatgrandchildren. Family and Friends are welcome to to pay their respects at his visitation on June 25th and 26th 10-4 both days at The Molalla Funeral Chapel. There will be a graveside service on June 27, 2020 for immediate family members only.
