Shannon Marie Bennett

A memorial service for Shannon Marie Bennett, 66, of Chico, California; formerly of Fresno and Eureka, California, will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2011, 2 p.m. at Kingdom Hall, 10 Honey Run Road in Chico, California 95928. Shannon passed away on August 2, 2011, at her residence with her loved ones by her side. She was born on August 14, 1944 in Eureka, California to Kenneth and Nona Tuxon. Shannon married Everett D. Bennett on March 12, 1966 in Carson City, Nevada. She worked for thirty-five years as an LVN and more recently worked as a Property Manager. Shannon was a member of the Kingdom Hall, attending services at the Eaton Road Congregation in Chico, as well as the Millbrook Congregation when living in Fresno and the Eureka Congregation when she lived in Eureka. Survivors include her husband, Everett of Chico; her father, Kenneth of Arcata, California; two sons, Christopher Bennett of Seattle, Washington and Kenneth Bennett of Orland, California; two grandsons, Bailey Bennett of Chico and Talen Bennett of Orland; brother, Rodney Tuxon of Eureka, Montana; sister, Diane Tuxon of Eureka, California; seven nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews.
