Steven Wayne Cooke, 51, passed away on February 5, 2009. Steve was a resident of Paradise, California for the past 25 years. He was born on February 28, 1957. Steve was a dedicated servant of the Lord and a member of Jubilee On The Ridge. Steve was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Edna Martin; brothers, Douglas Thomas and Michael Thomas Cooke and niece, Michelle Cooke. Steve is survived by his parents, Frank and Betty Cooke of Mariposa, CA; children, Stacey and David Cooke; sisters, Valerie Stephen and Linda Schaefer; step-sisters, Constance Pearce, Cheryl Jennings, Pam Guenthart and Deborah Peters. A Celebration of Life will be held at The Brethren Church, 5885 Sawmill Road, Paradise, on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at 10 a.m. Donations may be made to P.O. Box 726, Paradise, CA 95967.
