Quina Eileen Holder
April 17th, 1930 - April 24th, 2014
Quina Eileen McCoy Holder passed away in Chico, CA on April 24, 2014. Quina was born on April 17, 1930 in Farmington, NM. At the age of thirteen she moved to Payson, AZ to live with her aunt and uncle. There she met and married Leon Holder in 1947. In 1950, they moved to Orland, CA where they raised their three children, Allen, Kenny and Donna. While there she worked as manager at the J&W Bottle Shop for many years, and then later on worked as a bartender at The Gallery. She was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Rebekah Lodge. Quina was preceded in death by her parents, Louie McCoy and Edna Norton Mayhew; two brothers, Ted Hood and Dickey Mayhew and her son, Kenny Holder. She is survived by her son, Allen Holder; her daughter, Donna Retzloff; brothers, Dennis Mayhew and Leroy McCoy; sisters, Pat Chittenden, Jeannie Perrine and Caroline Curry; ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
