Bob DeCarlo A graveside service will be held for Robert Joseph DeCarlo, 67 of Chico, on Friday, November 14 at 1 p.m. at Glen Oaks Memorial Park. Bob passed away at home on Saturday, November 8, 2014. He was born December 21, 1946 to Peter and Julia DeCarlo in San Jose. Bob was raised in Chico and graduated From Chico High School in 1964. He attended Chico State where he studied engineering. Bob was drafted into the Navy in 1966 and was a “River Rat” in Vietnam. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cooking, golfing, fishing and pheasant hunting. He is survived by his wife Shirley DeCarlo of Chico; three sons, Steven DeCarlo of Houston, TX, Nick DeCarlo of Chico, and Dan (April) DeCarlo of Chico; four step children, Jessica, Jaime, Kyle and Colleen Madson all of Chico; father, Peter DeCarlo of Chico; one brother, Joseph (Susie) DeCarlo of Stockton; one sister, Kathleen (Mike) Ferretti of Petaluma; and eight grandchildren.
