A memorial service for Denise Lynn Burke, 47 of Chico, California will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2013, 10 a.m. at Paradise Alliance Church in Paradise, CA. Formerly a long-time resident of Paradise, Denise was welcomed Home into the Loving Arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at her residence in Chico. Denise was born in Inglewood, California on November 4, 1965 to Joseph and Linda Ward. Denise married Jim Burke on July 3, 2000 in Carmel, CA. Survivors include her husband of thirteen years, Jim Burke; sons, Kenny (Sarah) Swain, Fletcher Pyle, and Cameron Burke; daughter, Kristi (Solomon Oubre) Swain; grandchildren, Lyrik Oubre and Harley-Quinn Oubre; mother, Linda Ellis and sister, Carrie Tait. She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Ward in 1991. Instead of flowers, you may make memorial contributions to Paradise Hospice House in care of Affordable Mortuary who are handling the arrangements.
