Isabel Moreno Vasquez

Tribute Isabel "Socorro" Vasquez passed away peacefully on July 15, 2019, at her home in Firestone, CO. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2019, at 10am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Mesquite, NM. Isabel "Socorro" lived in Colorado but always considered her home to be Mesquite, NM. She often happily reminisced about the years she lived there along with her late husband, Manuel. She described working in the fields, the children she took care of, singing in the church choir and many people she was able to meet and befriend. She is survived by her sons: Manuel Vasquez Jr (Sonia) from Firestone, CO, Martin Moreno from Houston, TX & Jose Daniel Moreno from Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua. Grandchildren: Manuel Vasquez, Jose Vasquez, Guadalupe Vasquez & her muñeca, Izabella, all from Colorado; Monique Gutierrez & Alicia Vasquez from Hobbs, NM; Monica Hernandez & Yolanda Valdez from Houston, TX, as well as extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Manuel Vasquez, and son, Juan Diego Moreno.
