Born July 18, 1939 to Clyde and Ada Walker in Oakland, CA. She passed away on January 28,2023 in Chico, CA after a short illness at the age of 83. Alice graduated from Castlemont High School in Oakland. She married John McEntee in 1959 and started a family. Alice is survived by four children: Maureen Garcia of Chico, John McEntee of Sonoma, CA, Peter (Diane) McEntee of Elk Grove, CA, Michael (Dolores) McEntee of Stillwater, OK; eight grandchildren: Denny Cordle, Katelyn (Justin) Hamilton of Chico, Tyler, Ashlynn, Madison, Mackenzie, of Elk Grove, Kiana, Talania of Stillwater; sister: Charlotte (Tom) O’Callahan of San Francisco, CA. A half sister: Mary (Richard) Granger of Santa Rosa, CA Alice was a servant to God, dedicating her life to helping others. She resided in Sonoma, CA, Chico, and Henrietta, TX. Alice will be laid to rest at Chico Cemetery. There will be a mass on February 27, 2023 at 10:30 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church followed by graveside services. A private family gathering will immediately follow.
