Lois M DiDonato

Lois DiDonato passed away January 13, 2019 at Mercy General Hospital in Sacramento. She was born in Felton, the daughter of Alfred Quadros and Catherine (kitty) Quadros. Mother of Marshall Goodloe and Kathleen Di Donato; grandmother of Benjamin Goodloe and Danielle Goodloe; great grandmother of Holly and Dylan Goodloe. She attended Felton Elementary, Bay View Elementary, Holy Cross, Mission Hill Jr. High. A graduate of Santa Cruz High class of 1936, where she worked in the attendance office under the supervision of Vice Principal Paul Levey. As a young woman she worked at Horsnyders Pharmacy on Pacific Ave. as a soda jerk and for Melvins Drug Store as a clerk and tax recorder. She later worked for R. Carey Alsberge M.D., Walter Simmers M.D., Dominican Hospital in Admissions, Retired from the office of William P. Levonian M.D. In retirement she was a foster grandparent for Good Shepherd Pre School. She and her daughter relocated to the Sacramento area to be near her son and his family. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church 515 Frederick St., Santa Cruz, CA on Friday January 25 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Santa Cruz Memorial Park.
