Tribute Jackson McCloud Frank 02/08/2008-03/10/2019 With deepest sorrow, we announce that Jackson McCloud Frank, age 11, our most beloved son went to his heavenly home on Sunday, March 10, 2019 surrounded by his family at his home in Westminster, CO. Jackson was born on February 8, 2008, in Englewood, CO to parents Tara and Jason Frank. A passionate, courageous child, Jackson was known by his family and friends to be loving, smart, and inquisitive. He was passionate about his country and politics, hoping to someday earn a degree in political science. The budding patriot had grand aspirations to join the Marine Corps before pursuing his political career as Mayor, Governor, and ultimately President of The United States. He had a great respect for law enforcement and a strong desire to make the world a better place. He had a special love for dogs, his favorites being the Belgian Malinois and German Shepard, and seemed to have a special connection with each dog he met. Some of his favorite hobbies included: camping, shooting, baseball, and video games. Jackson will be missed everyday by his parents Tara and Jason (Lacey); his stepsisters, Alexis and Addison; his maternal grandparents, Jeri Parrott and Doug and Tricia Saunders; his paternal grandparents, Kathi and Dale Lancaster and Gary and Krista Frank; his maternal great grandparents, Joanne Carman, Jerry Skinner, Norma Brothers, Frank Saunders, Bonnie Burton, and Gary and Liz Burton; his paternal great grandparents, Howard and Carol Frank; his aunts and uncles, Brooke and Mark Cady, Casey Saunders, Jeff and Adrian Frank, Valerie Engle, and Joe Frank; his cousins, Alec and Isla Cady and Toby and Eli Frank, and his best friends Moses Gomez Jr. and Antonio Villa. He was preceded in death and greeted in heaven by his maternal grandfather, Don Parrott, and his paternal great-grandparents, Dave and Marlene Haddan. Jackson fought a long, hard battle against DSRCT, a rare and aggressive form of pediatric cancer, with grace, dignity, and determination for nearly two years. He will forever live on in our hearts and be remembered as a true hero. Jackson’s family extends a heartfelt thanks to Flori Leggette, his primary nurse at Children’s Hospital of Colorado, for her care and commitment during the past 20 months. Jackson adored her and she will always hold a very special place in their hearts. A special thanks is also extended to all of the amazing caregivers who have helped our family on this journey including: all of the team at Children’s Hospital of Colorado, Sloan-Kettering Memorial Hospital, and Kids Care of The Rockies. Jackson’s Celebration of Life service will take place at Mile Hi Church in Lakewood, CO on Friday, April 5, 2019 at 2:00pm. All are welcome. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, Jackson’s family would appreciate donations to The Children’s Hospital of Colorado or to pediatric cancer research. Services Celebration of Life Friday April 5, 2019 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM 9077 W Alemeda Ave Lakewood, CO 80226
