Minnie Iline Griffith, 95, passed away June 23, 2014. She was born December 19, 1918 in Montague, Texas to Robert Mack and Lizzie Jane Hise. She worked out of her home as a seamstress and enjoyed making dolls. She lived in Santa Cruz from 1956 to 2010 when she moved to Manteca, CA. She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Hurshel Griffith and her daughter, Karen Kersey. She is survived by her son, Charles Griffith and his wife Susan. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Benito & Azzaro Pacific Gardens Chapel, (1050 Cayuga Street Santa Cruz) from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held the following day, Wednesday, July 2, 2014 beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel. Committal Service will follow at the Soquel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice.
