Norma Kathryn Hutchings
August 1st, 1937 - October 31st, 2016
A long-time resident of Santa Cruz, Kathy, will be sadly and dearly missed by her family and friends. Kathy was born in Princeton, Indiana. She moved to Santa Cruz in 1961. She lived in the Westside Santa Cruz area for 55 years and made many friendships over the years. She enjoyed bowling, family, friends and following and watching her favorite sports team, The San Francisco Giants. She is survived by her sons, Marc Mabry and Edwin Hutchings; daughters-in-law, Liana Mabry and Courtnie Hutchings; niece, Nicole Salles and husband, Mark Salles; niece, Amy Cavanaugh; nephew, Ryan Cavanaugh; grandchildren, Jenna Mabry, Wayde Hutchings, Gabrielle Salles; Sherry Heaney and numerous other extended family members. She is preceded in death by her grandchildren, Wyatt Hutchings and Allyson Cavanaugh; sister, Judith Cavanaugh; brother-in-law, William Cavanaugh; and mother, Sarah Raney. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Moose Lodge, 2470 El Rancho Dr., Santa Cruz, on Sunday Nov. 13, 2016 at 2:00 pm.
