Carole Jean Doyle

Resident of Scotts Valley In beloved memory of Carole Jean Doyle who passed away at the age of 85. She is survived by her son Kenny O'Connell and Daughter in law Terrie O'Connell, her granddaughters Amber Hammerness and Danielle O'Connell. She is also survived by her three great grandchildren Jeremy Hammerness, Samantha Hammerness and Tyler Hammerness. She's also survived by her step son Mike Doyle and many nieces and nephews. Carole was preceded in death by Daniel O'Connell first husband of (26) years and James P. Doyle of (15) years and her oldest son Kevin O'Connell. Carole was born in Monterey, California and graduated from Gonzalez High School. She married Daniel O'Connell in 1952 and had her two sons Kevin and Kenny. Moving to Santa Cruz after her boys were born she became very much involved with her boys and their sport activities including running all the concession booths at Harvey West Park. She is mainly remembered by hosting and organizing the Santa Cruz Dads Club basketball tournaments for many years. Carole also was involved with the California Highway Patrol fund raisers where her first husband Danny worked. Carole was always known for her fabulous meals and was very involved with in the Catholic Church. After being widowed for over twenty years Carole met and married James P Doyle and enjoyed many happy years with him and his family until he passed away in 2006. Carole's love of her family and friends will always be remembered and anyone who was blessed to sit at her dinner table. We will miss you mom, grandma, great grandma, step mom and aunt.
