Liese L Liberatore

Liese Lotte Libertore, 90, of Longmont passed away on January 27, 2018 at Brookside Manor in Castle Rock, Colorado. Liese was born July 29, 1927 in Munich, Germany to Sophie Blaimer and Wilhelm Medele. Growing up in Germany she was raised by her grandmother and her great grandmother. Liese came to the U.S. as a young woman and met her husband Donato Liberatore in Syracuse, New York. They married in 1952 and had four children. They moved to Longmont, Colorado in 1966 and raised their family. Liese and Dan had been married 59 years when he passed away in 2011. Liese has spent her last few years at Brookside Manor in Castle Rock, Colorado. Liese is survived by her children: Marci (Jerry) Wruck, Greg (Debra) Liberatore, Nancy (Jay) Franks, Mike (Isabell) Liberatore, her grandchildren Caleb (Jessica) Liberatore, Jacob (Sarah) Liberatore, Rachel Liberatore (Dan Griffin), Ryan Wruck, Anna Wruck, Vanessa Libertaore and one great grand daughter Audrey Liberatore. The family requests that in lieu of flowers please dontate to Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, Longmont Meals on Wheels or your favorite charity. A Memorial Service will be held February 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Carroll-Lewellen Funeral Home, 503 Terry Street, Longmont CO. 80501 with a reception to follow.
