October 7th, 1983 - November 2nd, 2011
Brian passed away at his home in Santa Cruz on November 2, 2011, at the age of 28. He was born in Santa Cruz on October 7, 1983. Brian grew up in Santa Cruz where he attended Westlake Elementary School and Mission Hill Junior High School and was a graduate of Santa Cruz High School. Brian worked at a number of local establishments, including Whiting's Food, Santa Cruz Roasting Company, Orchard Supply and Hardware and for the past 2 1/2 years for World Gym in Scotts Valley. He enjoyed fishing, working out, playing the guitar, computer gaming and skateboarding. He also enjoyed taking trips through Epic Entertainment. Brian is survived by his mother, Dawn Iuliano of Santa Cruz; his father, Fred Brandt of Santa Cruz; his sister, Staff Sgt, Renee Nicole Snavely of San Antonio, Tx; maternal grandparents, Nick and Dee Iuliano of Santa Cruz; step sister, Dominique Teaford of Santa Cruz; he is also survived and will be deeply missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces. Brian was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Herb and Phyllis Brandt. Friends are invited to Benito & Azzaro Pacific Gardens Chapel, 1050 Cayuga St., Santa Cruz, CA. on Friday, November 11, 2011 from 12 noon until 2pm for a time of sharing and recollection. A time of remembrance will begin at 1:00 pm.
