September 20th, 1944 - April 28th, 2015
Our Beloved Father, hero, a legend in his own time: Gerald James Cole "Jerry". Son of Jim and Frances Cole, brother to Steve Cole, father to Michael Todd, Gerald Lance, Amber Dawn Cole-Marley, Taylor James, Taryn Ellen and Kayla Jewel, husband to Julie, uncle to several nieces and nephews, and grandfather to six grandchildren who brightened his life. Our "hero" left behind his spirit and wisdom as he was taken with a heart attack due to a short battle with cancer. Jerry was a great and loyal man who touched the lives of everyone he met. Not only a teacher and friend, but a father and creator. He dedicated his life to his family and maintained his passion for boat racing. We honor this man, our father. With his life and his teaching of love we are celebrating as we continue his dreams on May 16th at 10:30 am at the Maria Villa Del Mar in Santa Cruz. His Life Celebration will follow at 2:30 pm at Rio Del Mar State Beach. We are honored to know this man and honor him as we hold him dear to our hearts. We love you always "Paps".
