Richard C. Greco

October 13, 1938 ~ January 28, 2012 Resident of Felton, California Richard "Dick" Carl Greco passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Born in San Jose, CA, Dick was the son of Mildred (Pfeiffer) and Gaspare Greco. Dick resided in San Jose until moving to Felton in 1974. He served in the army reserve from 1961-1967 and was a dedicated Sears employee for 35 years before retiring in 1999. He served and volunteered for Forest Lakes Mutual Water for many years. Dick was a gentle and loving person who was passionate about his family and had a wonderful quick witted sense of humor. A very active parishioner at St. John's Catholic Church, he was involved with many projects, celebrations and served donuts each week after mass for 30 years. His interests included traveling with his wife Sue, wood working, the SF Giants and 49ers. In addition to his wife Sue, he is survived by his 3 adoring children and their spouses, Scott Greco and Kelly (McCullah) of Felton, Shelley (Greco) and Dean Romeo of San Jose, Amy (Greco) and David Paul of Scotts Valley: eight grandchildren Molly and Grayson Greco; Nicholas, Christopher and Cameron Romeo and Evan, Allyson and Aiden Paul. He also leaves his siblings; William, Robert and Linda and many loving nieces and nephews. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. John's Catholic Church in Felton. Service is to be held Friday, February 3rd at 10:15 for rosary and 11:00 for funeral at St. John's in Felton.
