Maria Luisa "Alicia" Vargas, 62, longtime resident of Monterey county, passed away on March 27, 2015 in Salinas. She was born on December 23, 1952 in Mexico. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 1-9pm with a Rosary vigil at 6pm, all at Healey Mortuary 405 N. Sanborn Rd. Salinas, CA 93905. Funeral Mass will take place on Wedesday, April 1, 2015 12pm at Cristo Rey Catholic Church 240 Calle Cebu Salinas, CA 93901. Burial to follow services at the Garden of Memories Cemetery 850 Abbott St. Salinas, CA 93901.

He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area.
