Jane Kelly celebrated her 71st Wedding Anniversary in Heaven with her beloved husband Bud, on January 1, 2018. Jane was born to Alonzo and Myrtle Porter, at home in Troup, Texas. Jane left home at a youthful age to pursue nurses training during which time she met a handsome young Navy sailor, Albert "Bud" Kelly. They were married January 1, 1947. Together they raised two daughters, Kitty Kelly Auwarter and Kathleen Kelly Hagen. Jane continued her nurse's training and retired from Dominican Hospital in Santa Cruz, CA. She and bud loved to travel, read, visit with family in Texas, but expecially loved spending time with their 3 grandkids: Luke Hagen, Janae Hagen Sandman, and Jacob Auwarter USN, along with her great grandson, Cole Sandman. Jane was an incredible mother and dedicated her life to her family, while continually caring for anyone who might need her. Her love was contagious and her laugh infectious. Heaven is a richer place now that she's home!
