Gregory Campbell

Greg Campbell passed away on April 7, 2022 at the age of 70 after a short battle with cancer. Greg was born in North Hollywood on June 25, 1951 to Clara and Wallace Campbell. He leaves behind his wife of 42 years Michele, sons Shay (Katie), Nason (Nicole) and 5 grandchildren, Jaycie, Jackson, Kody, Thea and Tessa. He’s also survived by his sister Patt Campbell of Salinas and brother Bob Campbell of Belize, along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Doug Campbell. Greg spent many years in the 90’s coaching both baseball and football in Monterey and Carmel. He also loved golf, fishing, going to casino’s, outdoor activities and spending time at the 3z Ranch with family and friends. Some of Greg’s fondest memories from his youth were working on the Tregea and Nason Ranches in Carmel Valley. Most of Greg’s adult life was spent working in construction. The family would like to thank Dr. Lulu Zhang, CHOMP, Hospice of the Central Coast and Westland House for the excellent and compassionate care he received. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Elks Lodge in Monterey, 150 Mar Vista Dr on Thursday, April 14th at 1pm. Cremation services provided by Bermudez Family Funerals
