September 30th, 1925 - August 29th, 2022
Obituary Mrs. Juul (Julie) Strieby passed away peacefully in her home on August 29th, just one month away from her 97th birthday. Julie was born in Highland Park near Chicago in 1925 and spent her life in Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Florida, Maryland, Michigan and the majority of her life in Fort Collins Colorado. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert and son Scott. Julie is survived by her sister Diana Hape, her son Rob and his wife Gayle who currently reside in Loveland, Colorado, her three grandchildren, Cade Strieby and wife Martha (Denver), Aubrey (Loveland), Alyssa Patton and husband Andy (Fort Collins) and her three great grandchildren Joey, Chase and Rodin. Julie and Bob enjoyed the outdoors and were avid upland bird and big game hunters. She and her sister Diana enjoyed yearly road trips to their timeshare in San Carlos Mexico and shared interesting tales of driving in Mexico. At her request no services are planned. In lieu of flowers Julie requested support for the Larimer Humane Society.
