Sharon Lee McCarthy (Burge), 53 left this world peacefully on January 1st 2014. Fiercely devoted, Sharon was loved by many. Even with the loss of both legs, nothing could slow her down, she was an inspiration to all that crossed her path, and a testimony to the strength of the human spirit. With her unfor-gettable smile and motherly ways, she quickly made friends everywhere she went. A collector of many things, teddy bears, pets or a new vehicle to race around on, most often it was new friends. If you knew Sharon, you were family, and you wouldn't forget it. Around her, no one would go hungry, or unhappy, and she made sure of it. Sharon leaves behind a loving husband, Ted McCarthy, mother Nancy Burge, Son Jim Cellers-McCarthy, daughter Rachel Bayne, and grandson Matthew. She is to be reunited with her father Clifford Burge, her sister, Shirley, and her chihuahua Angel. Services will be held on January 10th 2014 at 3:30pm in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 2430 Mariposa Avenue. There will also be a celebration of life on January 11th at The Bambi Inn in Butte Meadows.
