Obituary ROBERTA FRANKLIN "Unable are the loved to die, for love is immortality." Emily Dickinson Our whole family feels the loss of Roberta Franklin, who left us on early morning, March 13, at McKee Medical Center's Hospice unit following a stroke a few days before. Roberta was born in Kansas City, Missouri, on February 26, 1940. She married Chuck Franklin, the love of her life, in 1959. Roberta and Chuck spent many years of marriage living and working in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where Chuck was an elementary teacher, then principal. Roberta owned her own frame shop Manor Art and Frame Gallery, and the two of them enjoyed everything Pittsburgh Steelers and had season tickets to the games for many years. Roberta and Chuck relocated to Fort Collins, Colorado, to be near family in 2004 and moved into Sunflower Active Adult Community where Roberta was involved and made some especially good friends.
