Robert Bell

October 8, 1946 – February 27, 2023 39 Year Resident of Felton A private committal is planned for Robert Bell who passed away peacefully at his Felton home following a lengthy illness. His loving wife was with him when he passed. Born in Scranton, Pennsylvania to Robert Bell Sr. and Jeanette Bloodsworth Bell, he attended Cambridge high school and later served his country in the Coast Guard during the Vietnam War. Moving to Felton in 1984, helo immediately found himself immersed with community and daily commerce of the San Lorenzo Valley. Mr. Bell was a familiar face at Johnnie’s Supermarket in Boulder Creek where he worked for more than 30 years, retiring as manager. He was a proud veteran, and for many years played Santa Claus and rode the fire truck in the annual Boulder Creek Christmas Parade. He loved to make and decorate bird houses, paint, carve,draw, mosaics and anything to do with outdoors and gardening. He was a great photographer and amusing storyteller. He actually enjoyed housekeeping and caring for his pets and wife selflessly. He was a member of the San Lorenzo Valley Fellowship AA, and felt blessed to have met the many dear friends, co-workers, and customers who were a part of his life upon moving to the valley. He is survived by his beloved wife, Jeanne Bell of Felton, his beloved brother Michael bell of Kent Island md, neice Megan de Carlo spouse Nicholas and 3 darling children, nephew Jason bell and spouse Ashley Bobs special daughter denise woith, her spouse randy and daughter randee of oak harbor wa. He was preceeded in death by daughter Diana Robson whose children Sierra and marina will deeply miss him Finally, bobs step daughter. Claudia hedlund,spouse bart and loving daughter chantal Fuhrman. Ride forever musketeers! Bob is missed so much. He added to the world kindness, compassion, wit and just plain delighted with life
