Gerald Deane Thompson

Obituary Gerald "Jerry" Deane Thompson went home to be with Jesus on February 25, 2021 at the age 69 after walking an incredibly faithful journey of endurance and perseverance in the Lord. Jerry was born to Everett & Violet Thompson on February 8, 1952 in Greeley, CO. As a child, he loved fishing, muscle cars, playing baseball and basketball. As an adult, he loved cooking, camping, gardening and serving others. He worked over 30 years at Kodak and 12 years at Good Samaritan Society. Jerry met his wife, Bev, on November 19, 1991. They were married 6.5 years later on June 19, 1998. Jerry had one child from his previous marriage, Joshua, and Bev had two children from her previous marriage, Holly and Gabriel. Later Jerry and Bev were blessed with another child, Hannah. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Everett & Violet Thompson, and his brother, Ordell Thompson. He is survived by his loving wife, Bev; children, Joshua Thompson, Holly (Tim) Roach, Gabriel Suarez & Hannah Thompson; grandchildren, Jaxon Thompson & Teagan Roach; sister, Phyllis (Bob) Bauman and 4 nephews and 2 nieces. A Celebration of Life for Jerry will be held at LaPorte Outreach Church (220 N. Taft Hill Rd, Ft Collins 80521) on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Pathways Hospice of Larimer County.
