Roger Paul Christensen

Obituary Roger Paul Christensen, age 80 of Fort Collins, Colorado, passed away Monday, January 11, 2021 at his home in Fort Collins. Roger was born July 15, 1940 in Sterling, Colorado to Paul Woodrow and Geneva Mae (Hodges) Christensen. He worked as a lineman for the Y/W in eastern Colorado and then with Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) as a Meter Relay Tech for over 40 years. Roger and Shari Lee Rusk were married on February 12, 1983 and combined families. Roger and Shari fell in love with the Bichon Frise breed of dogs and rescued and cared for many of these beautiful dogs over the years. Roger also enjoyed planting seeds for his spring garden. Roger is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Elizabeth. He is survived by his beloved wife, Shari, and loyal companion, Casper the Bichon, as well as his stepsons, JT Adams and family of Phoenix, AZ and Scott Adams, and his sons Rick and Rob Christensen. Also his brothers, Robert Christensen, William Christensen and his sister LeEtta Christensen, along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and friends. There will be no services at this time because of the Covid restrictions.
