James Dale Harwood

January 11, 1961 - October 24, 2023 We are grieved to announce that James "Jimmy" Harwood was tragically killed in an auto accident at the age of 62. He was the son of Maryann Harwood. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Harwood, and loving sister Lynnette Robinson. Jimmy is survived by his siblings; Judy Kerr, Barry Harwood, Debbie Harwood, Bobette (Harwood) Hunsinger, and Kelly Carrell. Jim was loved dearly by numerous nieces and nephews and a host of extended family and friends. He was a beloved "papa" to "Hollywood" and "Shadow" Jimmy was a painter for 40 years, and a painting contractor in the Santa Cruz area for the past 20 years. To many of his clients and friends he was affectionately known as "Elvis" or "GimmeJimmy". Jimmy's presense will be missed tremendously! Friends and family are all invited to a memorial service to be held at the Santa Cruz Elks Lodge (150 Jewell Street, Santa Cruz, CA. 95060) on January 6, 2024 beginning at 12 noon.
