Eileen Fetherkile
January 28th, 1937 - January 18th, 2017
Eileen J. Kraucyk Fetherkile, 79, lost her battle with Cancer on January 18, 2017 at her home in Salinas with her family at her side. She was born on January 28, 1937 in Wisonsin and moved to Antioch as a baby. Eileen had a long career with Mervyn's, until she retired. After living in Missouri for several years, she moved to Salinas in 2001 to be closer to her son and his family. Eileen was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Salinas. Eileen is survived by, her son Jerry Young and his wife, Jo of Gonzales daughter, Susan grandchildren, Jennifer Young of Gonzales Cheryl Gonzalez of Arbuckle and David Young of Marina and great-grandsons, Chris and James Gonzalez. Memorial Services will be held on what have been her 80th birthday; Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 11am at the Healey Mortuary Chapel 405 N. Sanborn Rd. Salinas, CA 93905. Pastor Mick Erickson will preside.

Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
