Obituary Kimmy Rae Sanderson was born January 14, 1963 to Julia and Thomas Olive in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. She grew up with her 2 siblings Karri and Kirk in the Arvada/Westminster area. Kimmy always had a very nurturing motherly instinct in her and by the early 80's she had met her cosmic soulmate, her best friend and her life partner Mark Sanderson. On Ground Hog's Day 1985, Kimmy and Mark vowed to give their lives to one another. In the early 90's they moved to Northern Colorado and found their sanctuary in Bellvue. Kim spent many wonderful years raising their 5 children, Page, Nina, Stiles, Shelby and Magdalynn. She loved music and together they enjoyed going to see concerts, Red Rocks and Mishawaka were always a must! Kimmy had a servant's heart and loved to show God's love to anyone. She started up a puppet ministry for children at the Vineyard church of the Rockies. But cooking was always her passion. She particularly loved cooking for seniors and for many years worked in retirement facilities. When she wasn't working Kimmy, enjoyed spending her time with her family and her grandbabies. She liked sitting on her deck in the summer, listening to music and watching the littles play around the yard. She would spoil people with special little treats, and she loved to decorate anytime of the year but holidays were her favorite. She was a devoted Wife, Mother, Meme, Friend and so much more. On February 28, 2020 Kimmy's quick and aggressive battle with Melanoma came to an end and she was taken home to be with our Lord. She was preceded in death by her Mother Julia and Sister Karri. She is survived by her Husband Mark, their children, Page, Nina, Stiles, Shelby, Maggie, her 8 grandchildren, her Father Tom, her Brother Kirk and Nephew Ryan.
