Mary Elaine Galloway

Obituary Mary Elaine Galloway, born in Kansas City, KS, on December 29, 1951, passed away unexpectedly on November 24, 2019. Mary was the eldest daughter of John David Galloway and Margaret Elinor (Brading) Galloway. She was a long-time resident of Kansas City. Later in life, she lived in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Fort Collins, Colorado, where she became a Broncos fan--much to the chagrin of her brother. Mary didn't back down from the many obstacles that life gave her and found enjoyment in her church and corresponding with friends and family around the country. She was an avid recycler and always found another use for items instead of wasting them. Her calendar revolved around remembering family birthdays, especially her nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews. She enjoyed brightening lives through remembering people with cards and never missed an occasion. Mary is survived by her mother, her siblings Ruth Galloway, Lois Clond, Paula Galloway, and John Galloway, and her nine nieces/nephews and six great nieces/nephews. Celebration of her life will be held on December 27th, 2019, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at her sister Paula's home in Windsor. When she is laid to rest in Missouri, an additional memorial celebrating both Mary and her mother will be held on January 25th, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at Sycamore Hills Baptist Church in Independence, Missouri.
