Healey Mortuary
Frank Sanchez
November 4th, 1993
Frankie was a young man with a lot of "heart". He had a great sense of humor and had great respect for others. He was a participant in the Salinas Police Activities League (PAL), Junior Giants, Archery and Bowling Programs. He was a member of the PAL Youth Director Council. He attended Salinas High School. Frankie also enjoyed skateboarding, going on snow trips, going to the beach, talk on his phone, and the Great American Melodrama. He also enjoyed listening to oldies music and Ramon Ayala songs. He was happy to have learned to dance to Ramon Ayala's Music. He loved playing with his cat "Skittles". To his younger cousins, Frankie was the "bestest cousin" because he would always make time to play with and get into mischief with them. Frankie is survived by his grandfather, James Sanchez Sr., father, Frank Sanchez Jr., mother, Kathy Powell. His brother Manuel Sanchez, and sister, Samantha Sanchez. His Uncles, James Sanchez, Roy Sanchez, and Henry Cortez. His Aunts, Betty and Manuel Chacon, and Irene Hernandez. His God Mother, Mary Sanchez and God Father Tony Torrez. He has many Great Uncles, Aunts, and Cousins. Frankie has gone into the waiting arms of his beloved grandmother, Bellia, Uncles Charlie, Raymond, and “Weto”, Aunts Evelyn and Dora, and his Brother Amos who precede him in death.

We Entrusted Frank Sanchez's Care To
Healey Mortuary
At Healey, we treat our Salinas Valley community members like family. Our story begins after World War II when Veteran Herbert C. Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
