Obituary Jeremiah Christopher Jefferson, 42, Carr, Colorado passed away on June 28, 2018. He is preceded in death by his father, Donne Ray Jefferson and is survived by his mother Juanita Sommerfeld, his brother and family, Donne, April, Cody, Jacob and Ashlea Jefferson and his sister and her family Jennifer and Jayleigh Kurth as well as very special friend Suzanne Woods and her four children Anne Marie, Meghan, William and Laura to whom he was known as Mr. Mom. Jeremiah is also survived by his siblings, Maxwell, Monty, Solomon and Molly Jefferson. While Jeremiah lived life simply, the one part of his life that he indulged in was the people around him. Jeremiah had an abundance of meaningful and special relationships in his life. He pursued those he loved with care and compassion in a way that all who knew him agree was most unique. He left an indelible mark on the lives of all those who he met, those who knew him little and those who knew him most. He will be dearly missed among us. The family wishes to thank God for the time we had with him, the mercy he was shown by our Lord, and to tell you we look forward to the time we are reunited with him in heaven someday. Public Viewing will be at Vessey Funeral Services Friday July 6, 2018 from 2-6 pm. Family viewing will begin on Saturday July 7, from 9-10 am. A graveside service will begin at 10:30 am July 7 at the Wellington Highland Cemetery. We welcome all to a reception at the Jefferson family home in Carr from 2-6 pm July 7 to celebrate Jeremiah's life with us.
